Bangladesh to receive 2 Million Vaccine Doses from India tomorrow

On Tuesday, Bangladesh announced that they will recieve around two million doses of AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine from India in the form of a gift.

In it's Facebook page the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry said "Bangladesh will receive 20 lakh doses of Oxford AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccines (Covidshield) from India as a gift on January 20. A special flight of India carrying the consignments will land at Hazarat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka tomorrow."

The ruling Awami Party in Bangladesh have said that with this they will also be receiving around 30 million doses which was already decided and contracted by the government with the Serum Institute of India.
