Farmers Rally takes place in Mumbai;Pawar attacks Central Government

 

The Farmers Union of Maharashtra gathered together today in Mumbai to join the protest of Farmers against the new farm laws and show their solidarity towards the Farmers protesting in the National Captial.

A rally was organized at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai. From there the rally marched towards the Raj Bhavan in their protest.

In the rally many prominent leaders including the likes of NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, Maharashtra Congress President Balasaheb Tharot, Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap. Rahul Londhe,Shiv Sena's Youth Wing Leader was the only representative from Shiv Sena.

At the Rally NCP Chief Sharad Pawar attacked the Bhartiya Janta Party. He said that those in power, have not taken care of Farmers and labourers of the country.

Boosting the City's Reputation Pawar said "Mumbai has played an important role in freedom fight, unified Maharashtra moment and now will play a key role in this fight against the farm laws too."
