A "monolith",the likes of which have appeared and vanished in different parts of the world in recent times since November, has now emerged and was Spotted in the city of Ahmedabad,Gujarat.
This is the first time a monolith has appeared in India. It is a structure made up of shiny steel sheets.
There is no need to fear though as unlike in other parts of the world were it "mysteriously disappared", it was disclosed that this structure was installed by a private company.
This structure was spotted in a garden on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad. The triangular prism shaped structure which is seven feet tall was installed by Symphony Ltd in a garden which they manage together with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC).
AMC's Garden Department Director Jignesh Patel said "The monolith has been placed there by the Symphony Ltd which takes care of the garden. The structure has been installed by the company for the visitors. People can see their reflection on the shiny surfaces of the structure and take selfies too".
