Climate Activist Disha Ravi moves to Delhi High Court seeking actions against 3 news channels

5 days after getting arrested on the allegations of involvement in the Toolkit case,Climate Activist Disha Ravi has moved to the Delhi High Court seeking to restrict the Delhi Police from leaking any Investigation material related to the case filed against her. Some of this information also includes chats and communication by her to other third party people including the media.

In the case filed, she has asked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to take appropriate action against Times Now,India Today and News 18.

She has alleged that the above 3 aforementioned channels and others have been reporting on the case in such a manner which infringes her right to privacy. She has also claimed that it is "grossly violative of her right to a fair trail and presumption of innocence."

She has submitted that all the news channels her fundamental right to privacy, her right to reputation and her dignity. Therefore she has moved to the Court to restrict this channels from showing and publishing "private" content.

In her petition she has also said that she was arrested unlawfully and without basis in Bengaluru, allegedly in connection with the "Toolkit Case".
