Ahead of the West Bengal State Elections, the Election Commission has announced that the general elections will be held in seven phases starting from 1st April 2021 to 19th May 2021.

The Election Commission has also announced that the vote counting will commence from 23rd May 2021.
As of now, quite a big number of TMC leaders have left the party and joined the BJP, loosening West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's grip from her "Maa Maati Manush" slogan.
Whilst political parties like CPI(M), Congress and other small parties are also on the track to grab the throne of Bengal. The upcoming state elections is likely to spark one of the biggest political clash in the history of Bengal.
