Pictures of 'rioters' involved in the violence that took place at the Red Fort in the national capital during farmers’ tractor parade on Republic Day, have been released by Delhi Police.
Intensifying the probe into the Republic Day violence, the cops have identified the suspects using facial analytics. Around 42 people have been with the help of CCTV footage provided by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), while 20 suspects have been identified from Whatsapp videos.
A manhunt has already been launched to nab the alleged 'rioters' and two people have been arrested so far, according to the Delhi Police. It further stated that some of the suspects have fled from Delhi and others have gone into hiding.

'Some suspects rushed back to respective places'
As per the inputs with the Delhi police, some of the suspects have rushed back to their respective places. One of the two accused arrested has been identified as Dharmendra Singh Harman who was seen in the video footage at Red fort on January 26 when the violence broke out.
- The police are also ascertaining Harman's role in the hoisting of a religious flag at the Red fort.
Thousands of rioters protesting against the Modi government's new farm laws had clashed with the police during the tractor rally called by farmer unions on Republic Day.
The police have arrested as many as 124 so far and have registered 44 FIRs in this regard. It has also registered four cases against different social media accounts and sent requests for the removal of offensive and unlawful posts regarding the farmers' protest.
