Breaking News: Delhi to have its own School Education Board says CM Arvind Kejriwal

 

On Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a major announcement regarding the education system in Delhi. In his announcement he informed that Delhi will have its own school education board.

New arrangements will bring new revolutionary changes in Delhi's current education system said CM Kejriwal.

He was quoted saying "There are around 1000 govt schools and 1700 private schools in Delhi. All government schools and most private schools here are affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Their CBSE affiliation will be scrapped and they will be affiliated with the Delhi Board of School Education."

In the press conference he said that at the beginning around 21-22 government schools will be affiliated with the Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) and in the next 4-5 years, all schools will be brought under it.
