After a long Speculation, the Mumbai University on Wednesday finally issued a circular on examination schedules. The exams will be conducted online due to the rise in COVID-19 Cases in the city.
Semester VI exams for final year students in Arts, Commerce and Science will be held between May 6 and May 21. Colleges are expected to complete the first and second years exams before that,i.e between April 15 to May 5.
The schedule for exams in professional courses like engineering, law, architecture and other Post Graduate courses will be released soon.
The paper pattern will remain same as it was in the previous semester exams that took place in December. However for Arts, Commerce and Science courses students, they won't have any choice in question, like they had in the previous semester.
The Question paper in December had 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Students were expected to attend only 40 in an hour. In this term, students will have to end all 50 questions and the paper will be of 50 marks instead of 60.
The final year exams are usually held in March but due to COVID-19, the academic year got delayed by almost 2 months and therefore the exams have been pushed to May.
