On Thursday Former Delhi Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) President and second term MP Manoj Tiwari announced that he has been tested positive for COVID-19 and despite not having any symptoms, is isolated at his residence.
After receiving his report, he cancelled his two political rallies in West Bengal. Since the election campaign was announced, the BJP MP has addressed around 70 rallies, road shows and large public meetings in West Bengal, Assam and Kerala.
According to his advisor, he was supposed to catch a flight for Kolkata on Thursday morning but cancelled out his trip after complaining about body pain. "He got tested and his report was positive" said his advisor.
