India and Sri Lanka form Air Bubble Pact

India has now formed an Air Bubble pact with Asian Neighbours Sri Lanka and have opened another overseas tourist destination. People who are eagerly waiting to travel can now fly to both countries in the near future.

The Civil Aviation ministry said "India has finalised an air bubble agreement with Sri Lanka, making it the sixth such agreement in SAARC region and the 28th in total. All eligible passengers will be able to travel between the two countries in the near future."

Indians may soon even find themselves travelling to another neighbouring destination in Thailand. Talks of creating an air bubble between the two countries is underway.

For those unfamiliar with the term Air Bubble, it refers to temporary arrangements between two countries aimed at restarting commercial passenger services. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, International Flights have been on a hault.
