Merely a week after Swiggy and Zomato announced that they won't be delivering food after 8pm(Night Curfew), the Maharashtra Government has now allowed them to deliver food 24x7.
Yesterday Zomato owner Deepak Goyal tweeted out that thier are not delivering food due to the respect of the letter issued. However their competition (Swiggy) is being delivering food and asked for clarification from the Mumbai Police.
His doubts were later cleared out by Ashwini Bhinde, additional Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) after she took to her Twitter account to verify the previous order.
Zomato is prepared to provide the essential food delivery service post 8pm in Mumbai, but we are not doing so because we are abiding by the letter of the law.

I see our competition is continuing to operate post 8pm. I urge @MumbaiPolice to please clarify the way forward here. pic.twitter.com/LFd9qZUmED
