On Friday Famous Tamil Actor Vivek(59) was admitted to the SIMS Hospital in Chennai after he had complained about facing some discomfort. The actor is in a critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest and is being currently monitored by a team of Doctors on an ECMO machine.
According to sources, he fainted at his home and was rushed to the hospital by this wife and daughter. Incidentally he had received a vaccine shot on Thursday. However doctors have ruled out a link between the vaccination and cardiac arrest.
He was launched by legendary filmmaker Balachander in the 1980's and become popular through his comic roles throughout the 90's. He was last seen in the Tamil Remake of Hindi Film Vicky Donor, Dharala Prabhu.
