On Saturday, Arjan Bhullar created history when he defeated MMA World Champion Brandon Vera to become the First Indian origin Mixed Martial Arts heavyweight champion at the Singapore-based One Championship.
By defeating Vera,Bhullar ended the Filipino-American's historic five year championship winning run.
He completed dominated the fight in the second round and won the match via ground and pound. Bhullar is a former wrestler who won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games, held at New Delhi in 2010.
