Former Bigg Boss contestant Hindustani Bhau arrested for violating Covid restrictions

On Saturday, the Shivaji Park police arrested former Bigg Boss contestant and YouTuber Vikas Fhatak alias "Hindustani Bhau" for allegedly violating the COVID-19 restrictions in Mumbai.

On his Twitter account, Fhatak had posted that he will stage a protest all by himself on Saturday demanding the government to cancel all examinations for students.

To fool the police, he arranged an ambulance and travelled to Shivaji Park. As the ambulance service falls under the category of emergency services, it is not stopped by the police at any of the checkpoints.

After the police learned about his actions, a local team soon showed at the Shivaji Park and arrested him at 12:30 pm.

An FIR has been registered against him under Section 188 and Section 269 of the IPC, 51(B) of the Disaster Management Act with Section 11 of Maharashtra COVID-19 Regulations,2020.

Fhatak is popular for making videos on his Instagram and YouTube account, where he would use serious foul language and slangs against various people and celebrities. His Instagram and YouTube account, both were suspended for the same reasons.
