2 Army Jawans including 2 civilians killed in terror attack in Kashmir's Sopore

According to official reports around two security personnels and two civilians were killed in a terrorist attack in north Kashmir's Sopore on Saturday. Atleast three people including a police officer is said to have been injured in the attack.

The terrorists open fired at the security forces in the Sopore town of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. The attack took place around 12 pm with the police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officals on target.

As per PTI, the injured were then rushed to a nearby hospital whereas the injured officer was taken to Indian Army's 92 Base Hospital.

Kashmir Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar has labelled Terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) as the reason behind the attack.

The area of attack has now been cordoned off by the security personnel. Further updates awaited.
