Actress Rinku Singh Nikumbh who starred with Ayushmann Khurana in Dream Girl passes away due to Covid-19

On Friday, 4 June, Ayushmann Khurana starrer Dreamgirl actress Rinku Singh Nikumbh who was last seen in Amazon Prime's Hello Charlie has passed away after battling with coronavirus from last few days in ICU.

  • The actress was part of many television shows like Chidiyaghar, Meri Haanikarak Biwi and others but had gotten fame with the movie Dream Girl.

The news was confirmed by Rinku's cousin Chanda Singh Nikumbh to an entertainment portal.

  • She told Bollywoodlife: On May 25, Rinkus Covid report came positive, after which she was in home isolation. After this Rinkus fever was not coming down. A few days later, Rinku was admitted to the hospital. In the hospital, Rinku was shifted to the ICU after some time. Later Rinkus condition deteriorated in the ICU itself and she died. Rinku was already suffering from asthma.

Apart from Rinku, many members of her family have also tested corona positive. Chanda told that Rinku had already taken the first dose of Corona vaccine on 7 May and was going to take the second dose soon.
