Novak Djokovic beats Stefanos Tsitsipas to win 19th Grand Slam Title

On Sunday, Novak Djokovic claimed his 19th Grand Slam Title and became the first man in over 52 years to win all four majors (US Open, French Open, Wimbledon Open and Australian Open) twice after he came back from two sets down to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in a classic French Open Final.

The World No.1 triumphed 6-7(6/8), 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 over Tsitsipas who was playing his first ever Slam final. Djokovic is now only one major away from equalling the all-time record of 20, jointly hold by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

This was Djokovic's second French Open Title after his 2016 triumph. This victory adds to the 9 Australian Opens, 5 Wimbledon Opens and 3 US Opens.

The 34-year-old is the first man since Rod Laver in 1969 to win all fours slams on multiple occasions and just the third in history.
