An unusual video of Shiv Sena leader Dilip Lande has gone viral on the social media. In the video, Lande along with his supporters have forced a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Corporator to sit on a water-logged Street and asked his supporters to dumb garbage over him.
The incident has supposed to have taken place after several areas in Kurla area of Mumbai were left water-logged due to heavy rains in Mumbai.
When asked about his actions, Lande responsed,"I had been receiving numerous complaints from local people. Those responsible for cleaning the garbage did not do their work for which people of my area had to walk through water-logged streets. Now, I am making the contractor responsible sit in the same water."
Such action was bound to attract controversy from people and the Opposition Party BJP made no attempt to let it go. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has termed this actions as "Gundagardi"(Hooliganism).
