Amid speculations about changes in the Uttar Pradesh Government next year, UP CM Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in New Delhi.
This meeting came a day after he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah upon Yogi's arrival in New Delhi. Following the meeting with PM, Yogi Adityanath met the party's president JP Nadda.
- According to sources the meeting was not scheduled and that the CM only wanted to "brief the Prime Minister" on the progress made by the state in managing COVID-19 and to discuss other development projects.
