On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania High Court overturned American comedian Bill Cosby's sexual assualt conviction and released him from prison. Cosby(83), served nearly three years of his three-to-ten year sentence for drugging and violating Temple University sports administration Andrea Constand in 2004.

The former "Cosby Show" star was the first celebrity to be tried and convicted in the #MeToo era and was arrested in 2015. Regarding his release, his lawyer Jennifer Bonjean said "We are thrilled to have Mr.Cosby home. He served three years of unjust sentence and he did it with dignity and principle."

In a statement, Constand and her lawyers have called this development disappointing and they, like many other advocates, expressed fear that it may discourage sexual assualt victims to come forward.

Cosby later took to Twitter with posting an old picture of him with his fists raised high and eyes closed with a long message.
