On Wednesday morning (7 July 2021), 98-year-old veteran actor Dilip Kumar Sahab took his last breath leaving behind a legacy of films that spanned six decades, and gave Hindi Cinema some of its most ever-lasting classics.
His funeral is expected to take place at 5 pm today at Juhu Qabristaan in Santacruz Mumbai. Dilip Sahab is survived by his wife Saira Banu.
Dr Jalil Parkar, the pulmonologist treating Dilip Kumar at Mumbai's PD Hinduja Hospital had confirmed to the news saying, “He passed away due to prolonged illness at 7.30 am”.
