Businessman Raj Kundra arrested by Mumbai Police for alleged connection in porn racket

On Monday night, Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police in a case related to alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps.

"There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. We've arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this" said the Mumbai Police in their statement.

Kundra has been arrested in connection with the case of a pornography racket which was busted by the Mumbai Police in February 2021. Around 9 accused have been arrested in this case.

According to the police, women were lured into this racket, with promises of roles in Web Series.

During Investigation, Police also found out secret WhatsApp Group chats of Kundra along with four others in which they discussed payments and marketing of production of these videos.
