On Friday Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia announced that Schools in the national captial will reopen from September 1 for classes 9-12 and from September 8 for classes 6-8. He added that no child will be forced to attend school. This decision was taken at the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) meeting
"No student will be forced to come to school or college; consent of parents must" Sisodia was quoted by PTI.
It has been decided to reopen schools, colleges, coaching centers in Delhi, in a phased manner.

From 1st Sept, classes for 9-12 in all schools, all coaching classes as well as all colleges will be permitted to resume.
Schools in various state have already been reopened. Offline Classes for 9-12 reopened in Delhi in January but were quickly closed down again due to the rise in COVID-19.
