"Unprecedented Milestone" 50 percent of eligible population in India inoculated with atleast one dose of COVID-19 vaccine

 

As per reports from Health Ministry, India on Thursday completed administrating at least one dose of the COVID-19 to half of its eligible adult population as it crossed 61.10 Crore cumulative vaccinations.

Daily vaccinations in August has so far averaged upto 52.16 lakh doses. In July the daily average was of 43.41 lakh indicating the increase in vaccination speed.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya labelled it as an unprecedented milestone.
