| Honey Singh enjoyed a good popularity in the early 2010s |
On Tuesday 3rd August, a case was registered against popular Bollywood singer, music composer and actor Hirdesh Singh, popularly known by his stage name "Yo Yo Honey Singh", by his wife Shalini Talwar under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
According to reports, the Tis Hazari Court has issued a notice to Honey Singh and asked him to file his response by August 28. An interim order has also been passed in favor of his wife which restrains him from disposing of jointly owned assests.
After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in 2011 have been married for more than 10 years. Talwar first public appearance came in 2014 at a reality TV show named "India's Rawstar".
- His wife has accused him of having multiple extra-martial sex with women, refused to take her on tours, told her to keep their marriage a secret, removed his wedding ring and has thrashed and tortured her multiple times in the past few years.
She has asked the court for a compensation of Rs 10-20 Crore. Further Details are awaited.
