Grenade hurled at Security Forces in Srinagar; Five Civilians injured

 

On Tuesday, Terrorists hurled a grenade at security forces at Hari Singh High Street in Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir which injured atleast 5 civilians. However no casualties have been reported as of yet. 

This terror attack comes a day after BJP's Kisan Morcha leader Gulam Rasool Dar and his wife, Jawahira were shot dead by the miliants on Monday.

"There have been no injury to any security force personnel" DIG of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Kishore Prasad was quoted by ANI. He admitted that around 2.40 pm, a miscreant targeted a bunker of the SSB with grenade.

With the 75th Independence Day around the corner, the number of militant attacks in Jammu and Kashmir has seen a sharp rise.
