Slamming the Haryana Government for the lathi-charge by the Haryana Police on protesting farmers at Karnal, Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Sunday alleged that country is has been occupied by state-run Taliban.
In a video shared by ANI, Rakesh Tikait could be heard saying "The 'Sarkari Taliban' has captured the country. Their commanders are present in the country. These commanders have to be identified. The person who gave the order to break the head (of farmers) is among these commanders".
The farmers had gathered to protest against Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar's visit for a meeting. They were later lathi-charge by the police.
Controversy sparked when a video of IAS officer Ayush Sinha went viral. In the video Sinha alleged ordered the cops to smash the head of anyone who beaches the rule.
"It's simple. Whatever happens, no one can cross this area.... Smash their heads. I am the duty magistrate and I am giving you a written order. Use your vanes.. just pick up your lathi and hit them hard" Sinha could be heard.
I hope this video is edited and the DM did not say this… Otherwise, this is unacceptable in democratic India to do to our own citizens. pic.twitter.com/rWRFSD2FRH
