Kannada film actor, Puneeth Rajkumar passed away after suffering a massive heart attack on Friday morning. The 46-year-old actor complained of chest pain in the morning while working out at the gym.
He was taken to a private hospital before been shifted to Vikram Hospital as his condition deteriorated.
Karntaka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and leading actors from Sandalwood soon rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news. The hospital was later surrounded by his fans when they found out that he was battling with his life.
He is the youngest son of legendary Kannada actor Rajkumar. Following in the footsteps of his father, Rajkumar had decided to donate his eyes. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
