Maharashtra Govt relaxes COVID curbs; allows restaurants and shops to operate longer

 

With a recent dip in COVID-19 cases, the Maharashtra Government on Tuesday announced few more relaxtions. As per the new guidelines, Restaurants and Shops will be allowed to operate a little longer. Amusement Parks [except for water rides] will also reopen from October 22nd.

With the festive season upon us, this decision has been taken by the government to avoid crowding during the limited hours.

  • At present, the restaurants and shops were allowed to remain open till 10 pm. These establishments will now be allowed to operate till midnight and 11 pm respectively.

Earlier the government had announced that Theatres and Cinemas will reopen from October 22.
