Chitra Ramkrishna |
On Monday, a special court gave the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) a 7-day remand of Chitra Ramkrishna, former MD and CEO of National Stock Exchange (NSE) in the co-location case.
The court has also ordered for her interrogation to be done under CCTV, adding that the lawyers are supposed to meet her every evening. Her medical examination will take place every 14 hours.
This development comes after she was arrested late yesterday night in connection with the NSE co-location case.
The arrest was made in the case related to the co-location scam, the FIR for which was registered in May 2018, amid fresh revelations about irregularities at the country's largest stock exchange.
