WWE HOF and Wrestling legend Scott Hall passes away

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, WWE Hall of Famer and Wrestling legend Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon breathed his last.

Hall underwent a hip surgery in early March 2022 after which he suffered a blood clot which sadly ended up in him suffering three heart attacks. He was put on life support at a hospital in Georgia. He was later taken off the life support and he soon left for his heavenly abode.

Often known as "Mr Bad Guy", Ramon had a successful career in both WWE and WCW playing a major role in professional wrestling rise to its current state.

A four-time Intercontinental Champion in WWE, Ramon wrestled the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels in 1994 at WrestleMania 10 in the company's first ever ladder match, which he went on to win.

Following his exit from the WWE (WWF at that time) in 1996, Hall would join real-life friend Kevin Nash along with the immortal, Hulk Hogan to form the New World Order (nWo) a villainous faction who played a significant part in WCW's television rating fight with rivals WWE at the Monday Night Wars.

For his great contribution to the wrestling business, Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 as an individual wrestler and then again in 2020 as a part of the nWo.

Following the news of his passing, tributes poured in from various superstars and promotions.

"Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but BAD GUYS do," Scott Hall said at the Hall of Fame ceremony.
