BJP leader Kirit Somaiya's wife files Rs 100 Crore defamation case against Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut

On Monday, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya's wife Medha Kirit Somaiya filed a Rs 100 crore defamation case against Maharashtra MP and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in the Bombay High Court.

Raut has accused the BJP leader and his wife of being involved in a Rs 100 Crore scam in the construction of public toilets in the area under jurisdiction of Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC).

"Medha Kirit Somaiya filed Rs100 Crore Defamation Suit against Shivsena Sanjay Raut today Mumbai High Court," tweeted Kirit Somaiya.

The BJP leader stated that he doesn't want the defamation money and that it should be used for social work.
