India beat Indonesia to claim maiden Thomas Cup crown

On Sunday, the Indian Badminton Men's team cemented their name in history books as they defeated 14-time Champions Indonesia 3-0 in the Thomas Cup final and became just the sixth nation to win the crown.

They won three straight matches, two men's singles and a men's doubles match to seal the championship.

India's Kidambi Srikanth defeated Indonesia's Leonardus Jonatan Christie in the Thomas Cup Final by 21-15, 23-21.
