A Delhi court on Thursday extended the Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody of Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain till June 13 in an alleged money laundering case.
ED has sought an extension of his custody for five days in order to confront him with evidence and documents recovered during the custody period.
On June 7, the agency seized various documents and digital records. More than Rs 2 Crore in cash and gold weighing 1.8 kg were recovered from premises linked to him and his aides.
Meanwhile, he today filed a bail application through his lawyer in court.
