Two civilians were killed and as many as 28 others (including 5 members of Taliban), were left injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan's Nangarhar on Monday.
The blast occurred in the morning in the Shirgar market in the Ghani district of Nangarhar.
According to Tolo News, information about the blast was confirmed by local department of information and culture.
- The target of the blast was the head of the district health department. The unidentified attackers used a magnetic mine targeting the vehicle of the head.
No one has claimed responsibility for the blast yet, reported Tolo News.
This incident comes just two days after the attack at a Sikh Gurudwara in Kabul. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for this attack.
