On Thursday, Veteran Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan along with two other was sentenced to three years in prison along with a fine of Rs 2,000 in a hate speech case of 2019.
- A case of hate speech was filed against Khan over his comments against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in 2019.
Khan was realised earlier this year after the Supreme Court granted him interim bail. He is facing nearly 90 cases, including that of corruption and theft.
