The incident was captured on camera by his friend and has gone viral on the internet. Despite the arrival of police and emergency services for a search and rescue operation, the man's body could not be recovered, and the rescue operation will continue today.
The heavy rainfall in Karnataka has caused flooding in several areas, particularly the Nandavara, Aladka, and Gudina regions near Bantwal taluk.
