On Monday, a boiler blast at Jawaharpur sugar mill in the Ramkot police station area, killed three people and left five injured.
The explosion occurred during maintenance work, instantly claiming the lives of three laborers. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, according to Circle Officer (City) Aman Singh. The injured have been promptly taken to a hospital, and the identities of the deceased are still unknown, as per the police.
An official statement from Lucknow mentioned that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the Sitapur district magistrate to visit the site and ensure appropriate treatment for the injured. The statement also conveyed the chief minister's condolences for the lives lost in the incident.
