India has recorded highest single days spike of Covid-19 cases with 17000 cases in a Single day on Wednesday. Delhi surpassed Mumbai's number on Wednesday. Maharashtra recorded 3,890 cases on Wednesday. The death toll climbed up to 6,739 and the total cases shoot up to 1.42 lakh cases in the state. Mumbai Alone recorded 120 Deaths with 1,118 news cases.
With 3,788 new cases Delhi Surpassed Mumbai to become Country's worst hit city with more than 70,000.Gujarat Recorded 592 cases it's second highest single day spike taking it tally to 29,001. Meanwhile Lockdown in Containment Zones in West Bengal has been extended to 31st July.
