On Saturday, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar said that matters of national security should not be politicised and one must remember what happened after the 1962 war when large tracts of land as far as 45000 Sq kms were occupied by the Chinese.
Since June 15, after the violent face-off between Indian and Chinese troops in eastern Ladakh's Galwan Valley; Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been charging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Centre saying, he surrendered Indian territory to the Chinese aggression. To this, Pawar rebuked Rahul Gandhi asking all opposition to stand by the Centre to Combat such critical situations.
