Juventus Clinch 9th Staright Serie A Crown, Manchester United qualify for Champions League and more



                                               
Ronaldo scored one and missed a penalty against Sampdoria

On Sunday, Juventus clinched a 9th Consecutive Scedutto by beating Sampdoria 2-0 thanks to goals from Ronaldo and Bernardeschi. Cristiano Ronaldo latter missed a penalty in the 89th minute,but the job was already done as the Old Lady won their 36th Serie A Crown now having as many titles as both Milan Clubs combined(18 each). That was Ronaldo 2nd league title in Italy already equalling two league titles in 9 years at Real Madrid. With 2 games to go, Juventus would be willing to give their best player a rest before their Champions League game against Lyon which they are trailing 1-0.

As the Premier League season came to an end, Manchester United finished 3rd just behind Rivals Manchester City and Liverpool. In January, most people didn't give them hope to finish in top 4 but 9 wins and 6 draws in their last 15 premier league game saw them clinch the 3rd spot ahead of front-runners Chelsea and Leicester, they latter losing to United on the final day to drop out of the top 4 for the first time in 10 months.

At the bottom of the table, Watford and Bournemouth joined Norwich City as they were relegated from the Premier League. Watford knew they needed to win to somehow have a chance to survive but ended up losing 3-2 to Arsenal. Bournemouth gave a courageous fight and won 3-1 at Everton but they lost out by just 1 point as Aston Villa drew a nervous game against West Ham United.

Spurs made it to Europa League on expense of Wolves by a 1-1 draw with Palace. Liverpool went 1-0 down inside 30 seconds of the match but went on to win the match 3-1. That Result meant Liverpool accumulated 99 points this season, 18 more than Runners Up Manchester City who won their final game 5-0 against Norwich, as David Silva walked out for the last time in the Premier League. Kevin De Bruyne scored twice and assisted once to get 20 assists this season tying the record of Thierry Henry. Ederson clean sheet meant he clinched the golden glove. City,Chelsea, Arsenal,United,Wolves are still in other competitions as they try to win other titles.
