Regis Philbin, the genial and popular host of the show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" dies at the age of 88.
Philbin died of Natural Causes on Friday, just over a month before this 89th Birthday. Celebrities would often show up at his morning show which he Co hosted with Lee Gillford on "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee!" Between 1985-2000. Viewers would enjoy his mockery over several of his jokes.
He was the host of popular game time show called "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire". That show generated around $1 billion dollars revenue in just first 2 years. His catchphrase "is that your final answer" become instant hit, as he was seen asking every contestants this question. The show become widely popular as Countries started making their own show about quiz. India has seen a popular show after this named "Kaun Banega Crorepati" literally translating to "Who will become a Millionaire" hosted by Bollywood Legend Shri Amitabh Bachchan.
