The Haryana government has ordered a probe into the assets of the Gandhi- Nehru family. Mr. Keshni Anand Arora, the chief secretary of the state, has ordered the Urban Local Bodies Department of Haryana to examine the properties. It is alleged that between 2005 and 2010, Many assets were collected in Haryana in the name of Gandhi Nehru Family. Between 2005 and 2014 tere was Bhupendra Singh Hooda's government in the state. It is alleged that during this time many assets were collected for many trust of Congress and the Gandhi Nehru family. After letter from the Centre, orders have been given to investigate the properties of Gandhi Nehru family.
The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust and Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust are also to be investigated. A committee has been constituted to investigate these cases in which cases of alleged violations of various laws including money laundering and foreign donations. The investigation will be headed by a special director of Enforcement Directorate.
