Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced goals to conduct 10 lakh test in a day in upcoming weeks,double the number of tests that have been done yesterday. 3 high facility COVID-19 test labs have been opened in Kolkata,Mumbai and Noida and they are said to conduct 10,000 test daily.
"Together we have to create new health infrastructure and make government and private dispensaries and clinics in every district and village more efficient. The fight against Corona in our villages will not be weakened.. And with this, we have to keep in mind that our corona warrior should not be a victim of any kind of fatigue. We will also have to work continuously to connect and retired professionals to health system" he said in a virtual announcement.
The labs established will not conduct only COVID-19 test but also hepatitis B and C, HIV, Dengue and other diseases as well.
He said that India is stable because of the decision taken at the right time. The death rate in India is much less than some big countries. At the same time, the recovery rate is much higher than others. India has around 14,84,136 cases out of which around a good 9,54,004 have recovered.
He once again pleaded the same message that until there is a vaccine available for Covid-19, keep using Social Distancing rules, wear masks, use sanitizers and keep yourself safe.
