The Meaning of the Above Shloka Dedicated to Lord Ganesh is:
1: (Salutations to Sri Ganesha) Who has a Curved Trunk, Who has a Large Body and Whose Splendour is similar to Million Suns;
2: O Deva, Please Make my Undertakings Free of Obstacles, By extending Your Blessings in All my Works, Always.
This year amidst Heavy Rain-showers and Large outbreak of Covid-Pandemic in Maharashtra, the festival is being celebrated in a limited manner. The governing bodies of Lalbaug Cha Raja who every year celebrate the festival in a Grand way, have this year decided to set up blood donation camp in the wake of corona-virus. Also Ganesha Idols of only 2-feet and 4-feet have been brought for safety measures.
