On Wednesday in Ratlam District, Police arrested a man named Amrit Bhabhar, a resident of Rattagarh village for killing his own daughter.
The accused was upset with his wife because she had left for parent's house on the occasion of RakshaBandhan. Amrit thrashed his daughter and then strangled her, the superintendent of Police said in an official statement.
He not only killed her but also performed her last rites to hide his crime and said to his wife that she had died due to stomach pain. He had previously threatened to kill their daughter if she left for her parents house and did so when his wife decided to ignore his angry entics and then committed the crime.
