Around 24 students have topped the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main with 100 percentile,while the largest number of toppers coming from Telangana.
Among the remaining toppers, 5 have come from Delhi,4 from Rajasthan, 3 from Andhra Pradesh,2 from Haryana and one from Gujarat and Maharashtra each. Same as last year, the number of students who had topped was also 24.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the result on late Friday night after just one week of helding the exams. Since 2019 JEE Main is conducted twice in a year.
The first cycle was held in January and the second was postponded due to Covid-19. There was a 20% drop in Attendance in the two cycles with the January exams having 94% compared to September having 74% which was supposed to happen due to the pandemic.
