The 8th Match of Dream 11 IPL Season 13 saw Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad to win their first game of the season and inflict Hyderabad's second defeat of the season. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat first.
Truth be told, Sunrisers were never in the game.A Brilliant display of Bowling by Knight Riders restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad for just 142 with the loss of 4 wickets. One might think,if Hyderabad didn't lose too many wickets then how did they score so low. Well the answer is toughness of KKR's bowlers.
Pat Cummins was slammed for his bowling performance in the first game as he gave away 49 Runs of just 3 overs. He would though silence his doubters and critics by a stunning display yesterday. He finished his four overs with just giving 19 runs and 1 wicket.
KKR did lose some wickets early on with the score at the end of 7th over displaying 53/3, it was still a huge and impossible task for Sunrisers. An unbeaten 70 run knock of 62 balls by Opener Shubman Gill and unbeaten 42 runs of 29 balls by Eoin Morgan helped KKR finish with the score of 145/3 with 2 overs still remaining.
