PM Modi announces 900 Crore Rupees Petro Project for Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated 3 Petro projects worth Rs 900 Crore in Bihar and hailed CM Nitish Kumar for his work,ahead of Assembly elections as he tried to reach out to the state's voter.

Through a virtual meeting he announced the 3 projects which are a gas pipeline extending from Durgapur in West Bengal to Banka in Bihar. An LPG bottling plant in Banka and another in East Champaran's Harisiddhi.

With the elections likely to be held in October-November, PM Modi said that the Bihar Package included 10 petroleum and gas projects worth Rs 21,000 Crore and that this was the seventh project that was completed.

Without naming Him, PM Modi would take an aim at Former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav by stating that the state and country has passed through a time where one development project started by one generation would be completed by other generation.

He would praise Nitish Kumar by saying that he had realised and took 'projects at the right time' and tried to complete the project as soon as possible helping them reach new heights with 'progressing in India'.
