Based on the book written by former journalist Sucheta Dalal and her husband Debashis Basu, Scam 1992:The Harshad Mehta Story follows the chronicle rise and mighty fall of the controversial stockbroker Harshad Mehta who became the face of India's 1992 stock market scam of around Rs 5,000 Crore that shocked the nation.
For the people who grew up watching the city of Bombay, these series takes them back to that scenes of the city and brings Nostalgia of the 80s and 90s. The soundtrack is awesome, with the opening theme composed by Achnit Thakkar struck in people's head.
One thing that makes this series so entertaining is that it doesn't fear by using the real names and information,which in itself is fascinating. Lots of filmy dialogues, business related terms and Gujarati phrases have been used. Overall we at the SU-NITI News would recommend readers to watch this one.
